Julie’s leadership is defined by a track record of building resilient teams, guiding organizations through transformation, and delivering consistent performance. Her hallmark is her ability to align business strategy with human engagement—bringing energy, purpose, and momentum to every challenge.

She is a graduate of Western University and holds a postgraduate certificate in Human Resource Management. Julie lives in London, Ontario with her husband Michael and is a proud partial-empty-nester with two university-aged children.

Julie's Story

Julie Peters understands that transformation and engagement are essential to sustained organizational growth. She has over 20 years of leadership at a global Fortune 500 company, she has led and transformed a diverse range of businesses including Personal Safety, Transportation and Domestic Security and Dental Solutions.

 

Julie’s career began in marketing, where she honed a customer-centric mindset that she would carry forward into every leadership role.  She is known for her ability to operationalize strategy, communicate with intention and clarity, and build trust through authentic, audience-focused engagement, and has consistently distinguished herself by developing high-performing teams to drive meaningful results.

A proven change agent, Julie has led organizations through volatility with confidence and care. In 2020, she was promoted to Director of 3M Canada’s Dental division just as the COVID-19 pandemic began. She built trust quickly by engaging directly with customers and employees during the crisis, and her authenticity proved invaluable as she later led the local deployment of a corporate restructuring. Her empathetic communication style helped cut through organizational fatigue and brought clarity and alignment during a challenging time.

 

In 2024, Julie was appointed President of the Canadian Board of Directors to support the spin-off of 3M’s healthcare business.  Her ability to grasp complex dynamics, distill them into clear messaging, and lead with passion for the Canadian market earned widespread recognition.
